Guaranteed Security – October 2025
1. Policy Statement
Guaranteed Security is committed to the prevention of modern slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking within our organisation and our supply chains.
We fully comply with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and support the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organization (ILO) core labour standards.
As a nationwide security provider headquartered in London, we recognise our duty to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implement effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery does not occur.

We assess risk based on:
- Labour sourcing – especially use of temporary or agency workers.
- Supply chains – particularly in high-risk areas (uniform manufacture, electronics, facilities services).
- Subcontractors – ensuring they meet our standards and UK legal requirements.
Our due diligence process includes:
- Pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ) and supplier self-assessment.
- Contract clauses prohibiting modern slavery and requiring compliance with the Act.
- Right to audit and investigate suppliers where concerns arise.
- Removal or termination of non-compliant suppliers.
6. Recruitment & Employment Standards
- We use direct recruitment or reputable, audited agencies.
- All workers must have a written contract, right to work in the UK, and receive pay that meets or exceeds legal minimums.
- We do not tolerate recruitment fees, debt bondage or retention of passports/ID.
- Workers are free to leave employment with reasonable notice as per UK law.
7. Training & Awareness
- Induction training for all staff on recognising signs of forced labour or trafficking.
- Enhanced training for HR, procurement and site managers on due diligence and escalation.

8. Reporting Concerns
Anyone can report concerns about slavery or trafficking:
- To their line manager, HR or the 24/7 Control Room
- Via our confidential whistleblowing process (contact details in staff handbook)
- Directly to external agencies such as the Modern Slavery Helpline (0800 0121 700) or the Gangmasters & Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA)
We protect whistleblowers from retaliation or unfair treatment.
