Organisation & Responsibility

Environmental and energy management is led by our Board of Directors and championed by our Operations Director.

Directors ensure that environmental considerations remain central to business strategy and compliance.
Managers and supervisors are responsible for implementing environmental best practice across day-to-day operations.
Our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Team monitors performance, coordinates initiatives, and ensures reporting and compliance.

Every member of our staff is encouraged and trained to act responsibly, conserve resources, and reduce environmental impact.

Key Policy Areas

1. Compliance & Best Practice

We meet all relevant environmental and energy legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards. In non-regulated areas, we strive to follow recognised best practice and help set higher standards within the UK security sector.

2. Energy Efficiency & Climate Change

We aim to reduce energy use in our offices and operational bases by adopting low-energy systems, LED lighting, and smart controls.
Our mobile security patrols are planned efficiently to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
We assess and, where feasible, invest in low-emission vehicles and alternative power sources (such as solar-powered CCTV towers).
Our procurement process considers energy performance and life-cycle impact when selecting products and services.

Guaranteed Security is implementing a structured Environmental & Energy Management System (EEnMS) to:
